The purpose of this site is to have some fun, share some ideas, generate some interest (and feed back) and , maybe, provide some entertainment. My personal creed is "life is short, make a difference, today". I hope you, too, will make a difference where you live, work and play

My Airplanes Woodland Reflections

Woodland Reflections is a small, home business producing lathe turned objects including pens, bowls, plates, lidded boxed, honey dippers, oil lamps, salt and pepper shakers, plates, platters, steak knives, wine stoppers, and the list goes on. You can view some of results HERE . I also enjoy furniture repair. If you have any antique (or modern) furniture needing repair or rebuilding I am anxious to help. Rates are modest and work is guaranteed.

The "Iron Butt" page is devoted to the story of my ride to western Kansas and back with my son Alec. We rode over 2400 miles in 42 hours to become certified members of the world's toughest motorcycle riders association. Riding north to the Salt Water is a story of our ride from northern MI to James Bay in far north Canada. 2684 miles of riding to accomplish a worthy goal. Click HERE for the full story.

One of my hobbies and passion is building and flying remote control airplanes. I have ten planes, two of which are amphibious planes to take off and land on Platte Lake. Click here to see some pictures, with (always) more to come.
