Welcome Bikers. This page is devoted to information about the Bike Benzie bicycle ride sponsored by the Benzie Sunrise Rotary Club. The Benzie Bike Club is proud to be associated with this great event and 100% is support of this annual event in Benzie County.
Many details of the plans of for 2010 can be found below as well as a link to Bike Benzie web site. We hope to encourage all our members, their friends and family to participate.
Many new additions have been made to the ride for this year. Among them are more ride distances (15, 25, 45 and 62 miles), a lowed admission fee for the ride ($24.00), a new day for the ride (Sunday August 22, 2010) and many others.
The goal for the ride is to build it into a major community wide event with the focus on the cyclist.
The ride will begin at the Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa. Tompsonville, MI. Starting times depend on the length of the ride you choose.
Rest Stops, SAG service, police escort, great food and much more is planned. Be sure to add this event to your summer calendar early and plan to include, friends, family, and neighbors.
